I am an educator hailing from the small town of Guysborough in rural Nova Scotia. This rural education informed me of the belief that education should be accessible, equitable, and afford youth as many opportunities to develop their interests as possible, regardless of their postal code.

I did my undergraduate degree at St. Francis Xavier  University where I developed a love for hands-on learning experiences through service learning and community collaboration.

In my current Education degree program, I have a keen interest in interactive learning technology and promoting student engagement in their communities.
