As a student with a dual educative experience from Sri Lanka and Canada, I believe in an education that supports growth mindsets and equity for all learners regardless of their situation or means.
I am a second-year secondary-stream student who specializes in English and Social Studies. I graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Honours Arts in English Literature, with a minor in Geography, and a specialization in the Teacher's Education Stream. I am continuing my education at St. Francis Xavier University in pursuit of my Bachelor of Education.
In addition to this anthology, as an educator, my area of interest lies with English language learner equity and support. I strive to build valuable skills and knowledge within literacy development.
