These artifacts demonstrate my learning of educational law in regards to my professional role, duties, and legal and ethical responsibilities. The experiences that I have gained from these artifacts have helped me understand the importance of my relationship with other professionals in my field to support student learning and wellbeing, and for fostering a commitment to lifelong learning.
Mock Council Resolution
This artifact demonstrates my knowledge of professional and ethical responsibilities outlined in the Education Act and the code of ethics in the NSTU. Furthermore, my participation in the Mock Council has informed me of the process of passing resolutions, as well as the professionalism that is required.

Ethical Case Study
This artifact demonstrates my knowledge of the current code of ethics in the NSTU. The resolutions are presented with evidence from the policies that are in place, which illustrates my understanding of my ethical responsibilities, as referenced by outcomes 7.1 and 7.2. I hope to use this knowledge and understanding throughout my teaching career to model and follow professionalism with my colleagues and my students.
